Hello, I'm Malika Buttinger, a surface pattern designer based in Leiderdorp, the Netherlands.
My style is playful, contemporary and heavily influenced by nature. I like adding unexpected and quirky details and capture a sense of fun, adventure and excitement.
When not working I like taking note of the colorful beauty around me in nature, (on) people and in museums, shops, books, etc. Inspiration is everywhere... I am concerned about the environment (and live accordingly as much as I can), so I strive to work with sustainable companies.
